Friday August 7th, I went to Richtree Natural Market Restaurants there food was amazingly delicious. It had that spicy ingredient taste that made it so good and tasty. I felt so welcomed while i was there. A lot of people were staring but it was fun to be together and have amazing tacos ! Thank you to the workers for serving the tacos and burritos, The bus looked really cool and old fashion looking so it was fun. I found it really nice to be surrounded with my friends. We took selfies with the workers and cashier they were very friendly and engaging in a conversation. They gave us pop as well and it was very kind of them to open it for us! I found my tacos were so good, everyone enjoyed there food and i certainly did. I had gotten three small chicken tacos with some spicy sauce which made it even better, with a side of coca cola pop. It was a very big line up of girls waiting. Children were taking picture with us while we were in line.My favourite part about being there was talking to the workers and children. It was so much fun and i’d like to thank richtree natural market restaurants again for having us for dinner. #MTC #food #Tacos #MissteenagaCanada #richtreefiesta
My platform for Miss Teenage Canada is healthy active living. I choose this platform because i grew up playing sports since the age of six. I started off playing baseball. It helped me grow as a person. I was able to be part of a team, i felt needed, i felt important. I met many new friends from all over Nova Scotia and even some from New Brunswick. As i got older i found a new favorite sport, Basketball. I played on a school team from grade 4 and still currently play on the Jr. High team. I learned to take criticism, I learned to be a leader, there we’re many other positive impacts sports had on my young life. But most importantly I was keeping active and healthy.
To me it is important to live a healthy active lifestyle because i want to live a long graceful life. I will pass this along to other youth in hopes they get the same benefits as I did. Being active reduces your chance of obesity, heart failure and stroke just to name a few.
If I win Miss Teenage Canada I hope to spread awareness and also raise money to provide more deserving children an equal opportunity to engage in sporting programs, that will help them grow and develop in a positive manner while helping take the financial burden off a struggling parents shoulders. #charity #platform #givingback #missteencanada #my platform
A few days ago i got invited to a princess tea. So when I was ready I went down and seen all these little girls running around in their princess dresses and tiaras. A lot of them were staring and pointing but I knew they were surprised. I was walking around looking what was going on when I seen little kids were taking pictures with the princess so I thought maybe I should get the kids together and take a picture with them. I found the girl running the princess tea and asked her if I could take a picture with the kids and she said sure I asked her to get some little girls rounded up to take the picture with me and when she did they were all over me they wanted to be by me, they wanted to take pictures with me and they loved my dress and crown. One little girl said “I want to take a picture with the real princess” but I had to leave because it was prom night so I couldn’t stay long. I wish I could’ve stayed longer to take pictures with the girls, after the pictures were done I gave some girls high fives and a lot of the other girls ran up and hugged me.I loved how they wanted to be with me and they adored me
I loved how some girls look up to me and how I’m there role model, and thought I was the big princess. I had a fantastic time! 🙂
I think Canada is great because we get to experience all four seasons and don’t have to experience very many natural disasters. Another reason why i think Canada is great, is because we have a great health care system. My favourite part is Canadians invented basketball. #Canada #misscanada #missteencanada #missteenagecanada #mtcproductions #canadapageant
I’m so happy to have made it this far. I have so many people standing behind me, supporting me. I am beyond thankful for everyone of you. Thank you for believing in me 🙂 I have already made so many new friends I can hardly wait to meet them all in Toronto. The next few months I anticipate will be busy, hectic, and very memorable. I will be fundraising, helping within my community & preparing for nationals. I am honored to have been given this opportunity & am eager to go to Toronto in August and see what MTC has in store for all us girls, it will be so much fun. This is a wonderful, once in a life time, experience and I encourage all you girls to follow your dreams, never limit yourself, Never say “I can’t” always push yourself forward, try new things, treat everyone with respect and be kind.
